Bruno is doing so good!!!! His vet was VERY IMPRESSED at the quickness of his recovery! Hes got his boxer wiggle, hes conecting with the saff, and loving life! We are still putting weight on him, and his doing so good with his crate training! We are so proud of his progess and now all he needs is a loving family to adopt him and help him see what its like to be in a loving family! Bruno is a very sick boy. He has been on a chain his whole life, and its obvious that his previous owners forgot about him because he came to us so skinny, full of worms, a mouth infection, sever bladder infection, heart mummer, and something is fishy with his elbow. We are treating him, but the vet said its going to be a while before he feel like him self because he has so much going on. we have him on med's for 2 weeks to clear up all his infections and so we can do a EKG and get true results. The Vet will then decided on a treatment plan. Bruno is an older guy, but he is a true gentlemen and we are going to fight for him, Hess a trooper and he deserves our love and a kind hand to help him get thru his illness. We saw a little boxer wiggle just the other day, some know there's a happy guy in there somewhere. I cant wait to see those worry wrinkles disappear!

Very well behaved Just wants a chance I gasped when I saw this poor girl! I can't imagine why someone would let this happen but I can assure you that we will with your help make this little girl feel better. How or why she ended up like this is a mystery but we can't think about that we have to focus on helping her feel better and finding a home with a loving family that will show her not all humans are jerks. Please donate because with out your help we can't save the sad cases like this super sweet little lady. The vet has called, and given us the bad news. He said that the left eye is about to pop from infection so it must be removed. The right eye we are going to try and save with medications, but its a slim chance and it may also need to be removed. We will know in about 10 days if the meds will work. Her teeth are mostly rotten so she needs a dental to pull the ones causing pain, and to clean the tarter off the rest of them. Her hair loss is from a NON contagious demodex mange. Its a mite that lives dormant in the hair follicals and only awakens when the dog becomes stressed out. Then the mite eats on the hair folical causing hair loss. Looking at this dog you can see that she's been in a very stressful situation and she wasn't taken care of. We need to help this girl. ITS NOT FAIR that shes been neglected. She did such a great job during her exam. The vet said she gave kisses and was a very good girl. You can tell that she was grateful that someone was giving her a chance and was giving her love for a change. We have to save this girl Yes she's an older dog, but who cares! She's got so much love to give, and soon she will be healthy again and I one cant wait to see her shine! Pugs have such a great personality, you just can't help but love them. Wont you share some love and donate so we together and cave this sweet girls life??? Most likley, this dog will be 100% blind even after we try. We need to find this dog a home so she can recover in a stable loving enviroment and bond with her new family so she can begin to fell safe and secure will she heals and begins her new life. Very petite little girl We got a call from a shelter desperately looking for a rescue to take this girl. She had a horrific wound on her eye and it needed to be removed ASAP. We couldn't say no and we wanted to ease her suffering as soon as we could. We rushed her to the vet where he did emergency surgery and removed her eye. She did wonderful and now we just need to raise the money to pay for the surgery. These emergency always come up at the worse times. Please help us help her and so many more. She's a great little dog and deserves every penny.

May came to us with a tumor on her forehead. Bless her heart, how that must have felt I am sure we cannot imagine. May is all fixed up and ready for adoption. She's very sweet and loving. She wants a home loving forever home. I can see worry in this poor girls eyes.... Please be the person that helps her forever after be a happy one.

Everyone knows these push face dogs are very dear to my heart, today my heart is hurting for Gilbert. I got a email from a friend saying they saw him in a high kill shelter. I emailed the shelter and said we will take this dog to safety! When we talked to the shelter we have found that he is heartworm positive. Our plan is to start the process of treating Gilbert for his heart worm. He will be neutered and then go on med's for 4 weeks. He will then start his treatment which is a lot like going thru Kemo (cancer treatments). We really hope to find an adopter soon because is this sweet little boy has a stable home, he will do so much better recovering. Yes he is an older dog, but he has so much love to give and we believe in him. Wont you believe in him too?? If you cant adopt, can you please donate. We are known for taking the worse cases from shelters. the ones that would be put down because shelters cant afford to vet them, and no one wants them. We spend the money, vet them, and find them homes. We can only continue to do so if we have help from the public. We need your donations no matter how small it may be.

We went to a high kill shelter to pick up a pug in really bad shape only to find someone dropping of 2 shih tzu's to be put down because she didn't have time for them. We were so shocked that someone would do such a thing, we just couldn't leave them behind. We grabbed them up and are now looking for forever homes that will love them forever not till they get tired of them. Please consider adoption. Because there are great dogs just like these dumped at shelters looking for a home and love. You can be the hero that rescues them. UPDATE 4/9/09 Sometimes we are so horrified by what people will do that you become so protective over these dogs wanting to help them to a safe place, vet them and help them find homes that will actually love them rather then dump them at a shelter when they are tired of them. When we took them to RePets and did their exam, We were so angry to find the level of neglect that these beautiful dogs have gone thru. They are matted around their eyes, and other important parts causing infection. They have a skin infection thats inflamed and crusty. Their little bodies are so neglected and we just want them to stop hurting. PLEASE donate and help us get these girls better so we can find them forever homes. UPDATE 4/12/09 After a visit to the Vet, we are treating these girls for, a total body yeast infection, and dry eyes. After a week we will revisit the vet and see when they can be spayed so they can go home. These girls have a perfect personality and just need someone that understands this breed to love them and give them the loving home they deserve.

Rocko was at a high kill shelter and nobody wanted to even get to know her because she doesn't like to be picked up. That was strange to me so we took her to the vet where she had x-rays and found that she has a slipped disc and it has fused back together. OUCH!! its no wonder she wants you to be careful around her. Rocko is on pain meds, and we hope to find a home soon. Till then shes sitting her looking cute and hoping you will think about adopting her, and maybe even donating to her vet bills so we can continue to take the sad cases from high kill shelters.

Tasmine needs surgery to repaire her cherry eye. She is a great little dog that was surrendered becasue her people didnt have time or the mone to fix her eyes. We said we would help this sweetie pie but we need your help to do it. Tasmine will soon o to the vet. We need your donations to help pay for her surgery. Minnie was dumped at a high kill shelter because the man running the puppy mill she was at doesn't vet his moms when something goes wrong. Minnie is in a lot of pain becasue her uterus is so swollen from being over bred that its on the outside of her Well girl parts. (prolapsed uterus) When we got the urgent email plea we rushed to that shelter to get her and have surgery arranged with out even seeing who or what she is. I was so pleased when I saw how beautiful she is. I can't wait until she feels better because I know she will find a home quick.
Right now we need to focus on getting her the treatment she needs to stop the pain. We need donations please! We also need to take adoption applications so when she's well, we can place her in a loving home and she will start to know love for the first time. Please consider adoption and never ever buy a dog because of this and so much more is always what that cute puppys parents go thru just to so the breeders and the pet stores can make a dollar. Adoption papers are always more important and more respected then any kind of akc papers!!

LAP DOG! VERY Sweet! 4/2/09 We got a call that this dog was at a very crowded shelter. We went to get him and a few of his buddies to basically save their lives. I couldn't believe what this poor little boy looked like. He has a few issues we must have looked at. We will need to take him to the vet and we are going to need to raise the money to pay for it. Please donate if you can so we can continue to save shelter animals. UPDATE 4/3/09 11:30 am With tears in my heart, I inform you the sad news that the vet just gave me about this poor sweet little boy. Matthew is in really bad shape. He will need extensive vetting and we are very sad, but relieved that vetting will save this dog. Here is what the vet has found wrong with him SO FAR. as I receive news I will post here on his page.
Matthew is also heartworm positive. This means a mosquito bit him and put larva in his blood stream causing his heart be the nest for that larva. He now has worms in his hear that will kill him with out treatment. If this is the first time you have ever heard of heart worm, or you think that an over the counter product will keep your dog from getting it, then we would like to recommend that you see your vet for more information. Heart worm preventative is given to your dog once a month and you can only get it from your vet after a test is preformed. Please Pray for Matthew. This treatment is a very hard and long process to go thru for dogs. He will need a treatment that is much like kemo/cancer treatment for humans. Matthew needs a family that will love him as he goes thru this. He will need medication for 4 weeks before we can start the treatments. Being in a home that will love him, is the first step to recovery. We are looking for a family to adopt him that has a great vet ref and the family will have to help him thru these stages. Matthew is a great little dog, that needs us to step up for him. Please donate and help save his life, or better yet apply to adopt him and give him the love he deserves. Update 4/3/2009 5:30pm Matthews vet has decided to keep him over night for observation. He is weak and needs fluids to make him stronger. She also wants to runs some more tests to make sure hes improving. Matthew is in great hands and we are so proud to have such a great vet to care for our animals.

We have been given very sad news. Poor Sweet Rose is not doing well. We have taken her to the vet so many times fighting so many different things. The cost of the medicines for a dog is outrageous! We still have not been able to do her dental, so her teeth are still very uncomfortable. She's on can food which is costing $3.00 per day. She's on pain medications that are hard on her liver, She's having breathing trouble that is caused by her pulmonary disease. Until we have to get her infected lungs and heart rate under control before we can even think about fixing her rotten teeth. We DESPERATELY need donations for this dog! She deserves a chance at a pain free happy life! She has given her best years to that breeder then tossed aside left with out care! PLEASE lets come together as a pug loving community and give her the life she deserves. We now need $950 to cover all her vetting, medicines, special food and care expenses. Donating cash, Science Diet adult can dog food, and extra soft treats will help her and RePets Animal Rescue to save her life! (Everyone gives the other dogs treats but Rose cant have any it hurts her teeth to eat them. Its not fair and she doesn't understand why she can have any treats.)

Jerry was dumped at a shelter with a very bad eye. We rushed to go get him as soon as we heard he was suffering, and sent him straight to surgery. Poor Jerry lost his eye, but hasnt lost his spirit! Jerry is a extreme Love Bug, even when he was in so much pain! We have a $600 surgery and meds to pay for and your help will not only help this cat but help others too. Princess Lou Lou is a Puppy Mill momma that spent 7 years in a tiny cage giving birth every heat, and never experiencing the joys of being a part of a family. Lou Lou also missed out on good veterinary care, and her body is defiantly showing signs of it. This sweet girl has a $896 vet bill. Anytime we rescue a puppy mill momma dog we expect the vetting to be between $600-$1300 Lou Lou is actually the first one that didn't have Breast cancer, and we are very thankful for that! However she did have her share of problems and we need your help to pay the vetting so we can continue to rescue puppy mill and other animals that are suffering and need our help.

We are not sure what happened, but one day we noticed that Anna's eye was a little runny so we took her to the vet for meds. It still wasn't looking any better a week later, so we took her back. She didn't get any better instead she got wore and we had to remove the eye. Anna is very scared, and she needs the love and attention that only a family can give. She also needs someone to help pay her vet bills. IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE do. Annas vet bill was $442 and her adoption fee will not cover that.

Buddy came to us a very long time ago with 2 major issues. He had a slipped disc and a double ear infection. the shelter couldn't afford to help him so he was on a euth list. We pulled this super sweet boy and gave him a warm bed to recover. 4 months later, his vet bills, medications, and care is a whopping $233.00 But he's worth every penny! He looks at you with so much love and appreciation in his eyes. He is housebroken so he would make a great addition to a quiet family. Because of his back injury we feel it be best that Buddy be adopted by a family with out small children, mostly because Buddy is scared that someone will hurt his back again. Buddy makes a great little side kick and would love to be your best friend. PLEASE consider donating and or even adopting Buddy, He deserves an understanding Family! Oh and yes, his ears stay like that! Isn't he just adorable!???!!
